Dual-City Forum on Innovative Development in the Healthcare and Medical Industry
On the morning of June 18, the Dual-City Forum on Innovation and Development in the Healthcare Industry was held at Bangkai Science and Technology Park in Guangming District, Shenzhen. Focusing on the healthcare theme, the forum brought together over 120 participants, including government officials, experts, scholars, representatives from business associations, and enterprises. The event centered on industry trends and cutting-edge developments, facilitating in-depth discussions on healthcare sector experiences, trends, and strategies across multiple dimensions such as industrial ecosystems, technological innovation, technology commercialization, and market operations, thereby promoting the sustainable development of the industry.
At Changsha Tianxin Hospital, the District Committee and District Government have cultivated new quality productive forces in accordance with local conditions, seizing the opportunities presented by the establishment of the first national medical centers and the construction of the National Veterans Medical Center at Nanhua University. Focusing on the critical sector of “medical devices,” they are dedicated to developing the Tianxin District High-end Medical Device Industrial Park, exploring innovative paradigms for industrial cluster cultivation, and injecting new momentum into the development of the healthcare industry across the province.

In Guangming District, Shenzhen, the District Committee and District Government have incorporated the medical device industry into eight major strategic emerging industrial clusters. They have successively established specialized medical device parks such as the High-Tech Innovation Center and the Yutang Advanced Manufacturing Park, giving rise to leading domestic enterprises like Mindray, Coman, and Kaili. The industry’s agglomeration capacity, radiating influence, and driving force continue to strengthen.
Zhao Xue, General Manager of the China Region at Halls International Holdings Limited, highlighted during her keynote speech the 2024 Russia China Advanced Medical International Exhibition and Order Fair, which will promote the internationalization of China’s domestic medical devices, pharmaceutical and food health sectors, emergency rescue services, and traditional Chinese medicine industries. The event aims to facilitate collaboration with the Hoalls Hong Kong Consortium in accessing Russia’s national procurement resources and addressing key challenges in entering the Russian market. Shenzhen StarNet Capital Management Co., Ltd. will serve as the strategic partner for this exhibition, leveraging the Centripetal Force International Accelerator in Changsha Tianxin and the Centripetal Force (Greater Bay Area) Innovation Center in Shenzhen Guangming to recruit and organize healthcare enterprises from Hunan and Guangdong for joint marketing, co-exhibition participation, and overseas expansion initiatives.
