Strengthening China-Argentina  Cooperation and Jointly Forging a New Chapter in Industrial Development

In the first half of this year, Silk Road Star maintained active participation in China-Argentina(C-ARG) cooperation. The company’s vice president attended a high-level strategic cooperation and policy sharing meeting chaired by the Argentine Commercial Counselor at the end of April, and participated in a mid-level seminar on economic and industrial cooperation led by the presidents of the C-ARG Chamber of Commerce and renowned Argentine market research experts on May 20. Just four days later, on May 24, Silk Road Star was invited to send representatives to an intention negotiation meeting aimed at promoting practical cooperation between China and Argentina in areas such as agriculture, new energy, and fintech, with the goal of translating China-Arab cooperation into concrete projects at the corporate level, creating new long-term profit growth drivers for the company, and laying the foundation for sustained strategic economic collaboration.

This negotiation meeting brought together two key figures from Argentina, aiming to implement the important consensus reached by the heads of state of both countries and promote the high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative in Latin America to become more substantial and effective. Among them, Mr.Hugo Daniel Iraisos, Vice Chairman of the Argentine Association of Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurs and member of the C-ARG Council, has been continuously advancing diplomatic and economic cooperation between Argentina and China as well as other countries since 1999, boasting a extensive international resource network; Ms.Marta Beatriz Dodan is responsible for resource coordination, establishing liaison channels, and leading strategic cooperation in trade and cultural sectors.

During the meeting, participants spoke freely, striving to achieve precise alignment between supply and demand and promote practical cooperation. For instance, in the agricultural sector, representatives from local beef enterprises in DaXing hoped that the two Argentine delegates would screen and recommend relevant companies or channels in Argentina to establish a stable supply chain for high-quality beef, thereby meeting the growing demand of China’s consumers for premium grass-fed beef and enhancing the availability of high-quality protein on Chinese dining tables. In the field of new materials, representatives from Beijing-based high-tech enterprises showcased their independently developed aerogel insulation material, which meets world-leading performance standards. Its competitiveness is evident in both high-temperature and low-temperature applicability as well as durability, combining features such as thermal insulation, lightweight environmental friendliness, soundproofing, noise reduction, and electromagnetic wave response. This material finds extensive applications in the petrochemical industry, construction sector, urban heating systems, automotive industry, defense sector, aerospace, and other fields.

At this trade fair, Silk Road Star – an overseas expansion service platform with extensive experience and robust channel networks in the international market – fully demonstrated its capabilities by showcasing a wide range of supply and demand opportunities. Beyond facilitating imports of Argentina’s distinctive agricultural products and minerals, the company documented specific requirements raised by Argentine representatives regarding its core supply chain products and proactively engaged in follow-up coordination thereafter.

“Good rain knows its season; it falls when spring arrives. It seeps in quietly with the wind at night, nourishing all things without a sound.” This negotiation event has been like a timely rain for numerous enterprises actively engaged in C-ARG exchanges. Silk Road Star, like many participating companies, has benefited greatly from it. However, Silk Road Star offers another distinctive feature: providing multidimensional services for the international trade of products and services from both countries. These services extend beyond policy implementation and product certification procedures to include financial settlement, supply chain financing, and a range of complementary “value-added” services. Moving forward, building on solid efforts to promote bilateral economic and trade cooperation, the Silk Road Star team will continue to uphold its original mission of “pooling global wisdom and deepening engagement in the China market,” advancing C-ARG collaboration from “product interoperability” to “joint industrial prosperity” and contributing to the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
