On May 22, the first 2026 Member Assembly and the third leadership transition meeting of the Dongsi Subdistrict Chamber of Commerce in Beijing’s Dongcheng District, as well as the leadership transition meeting of the Dongcheng District Women Entrepreneurs Association, were held successively. Zhao Xue, Chairman of Silk Road Star, was elected to serve as a board member of both the Dongsi Subdistrict Chamber of Commerce and the newly appointed board members of the Dongcheng District Women Entrepreneurs Association.
Assuming office on the same day, these two honors signify a dual responsibility. For Mr.Zhao, who has dedicated himself to Dongcheng District and served global markets, this recognition not only reflects societal approval of his professional achievements, corporate development, and social contributions, but also marks a new starting point for a collaborative journey aligned with regional development.
Dongcheng District is a core urban area in Beijing with profound historical and cultural heritage, as well as a key hub for modern service industries, technology innovation enterprises, and international resources. Ms.Zhao emphasized that corporate growth is inseparable from this vibrant environment. Moving forward, leveraging her expertise in international trade, cross-border services, and cultural exchange, she will further serve as a bridge and facilitator, contributing to investment attraction, resource connectivity, business environment optimization, and support for enterprises expanding globally, thereby injecting greater market vitality and international momentum into Dongcheng District’s high-quality development.
From the School of Finance at Renmin University of China to the Law School of the University of Southern California in the United States, from auditing listed companies to startup incubation, and finally to founding and leading Silk Road Star, Ms.Zhao’s career path has consistently revolved around “empowerment” and “connection.” With keen insight into the challenges faced by Chinese enterprises entering overseas markets such as registration, compliance, logistics, settlement, and distribution channels, she led Silk Road Star in developing a comprehensive international expansion service platform, enabling “China’s Good Products” to reach global consumers more smoothly.
Currently, Silk Road Star has established a global service network covering three key regions: Southeast Asia, the Russian-speaking area, and Central and North America, while proactively expanding into markets in the Middle East, North Africa, and South America. Leveraging multilateral mechanisms such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS cooperation, the company has developed a comprehensive service system encompassing overseas company registration, product compliance certification, international customs clearance and logistics, financial settlement, and channel deployment, providing China enterprises with end-to-end support from “going global” to “growing steadily” when expanding internationally.
Beyond business practices, Ms.Zhao has consistently integrated social responsibility into both her personal growth and corporate development. She has led teams to provide educational and industrial assistance in regions such as Guizhou, Ningxia, and Gansu; during the pandemic, she organized mutual aid platforms and coordinated the distribution of relief supplies; following the severe flood disaster on July 20 in Henan, she actively participated in rescue efforts and charitable initiatives. Her repeated hands-on involvement has reinforced her conviction that the value of an entrepreneur lies not only in creating wealth but also in generating meaningful value, demonstrating compassion, and addressing the needs of our times.
Upon being elected as a council member of both the Dongsi Street Chamber of Commerce and the Dongcheng District Women Entrepreneurs Association, Ms.Zhao emphasized that this role is not merely an “honorary title” but carries significant responsibilities. Moving forward, she will work alongside colleagues from the chambers and associations to focus on corporate development and regional advancement, while continuing to make efforts in promoting economic exchange, facilitating resource sharing, supporting women’s entrepreneurship, and engaging in public welfare initiatives.
